The Primary 1 students have recently learned, in English Classes, about using the five senses, of sight, sound, smell, taste and touch.
In order to create interesting, practical opportunities for them to use these senses, they were led around the school, in a walking tour, which allowed them to identify things in the environment that they could see, hear, smell and touch. From smelly rubbish bins, loud buses, big trees and pretty leaves, the students identified things in the environment by using their senses and talking about it.
Practical opportunities are very valuable speaking exercises and the students enjoyed the stimulation.
