Mid-Autumn Festival English Activity
With Mid-Autumn Festival being such a happy occasion for children, the English teachers wanted to give the students an extra chance to learn about and discuss what it means to celebrate this festival, in English. Willing students met the NET teachers, Miss Susan and Mr. Fyffe, at recess to learn more. They learned some festival-appropriate vocabulary, watched an educational video, completed a fun word-search and shared some festival fruit at recess, such as starfruit, persimmons and pears.
